All images submitted MUST meet the following criteria:
- File size: all submitted images should be no more than 3 MB each
- Images must be in JPG format.
- File name: Your file names must adhere to the following requirement: photographer’s last name followed by an underscore and then the image title.
For example, Jane Smith’s photograph called “Sunset Days” should be named: smith_sunsetdays
Fee: There is a fee to submit up to three (3) images. A photographer may submit as many times as they wish. The fee goes directly to making the exhibition a success. Payment will be accepted by PayPal (You do not require a PayPal account to pay by credit card).

No artist fees will be paid but all photographers may price their work for sale during the exhibition. All sales will be completed through InFocus. The photographer will retain 80% of all sales made during the exhibition and a commission of 20% will be earned by InFocus.
No submissions will be accepted after October 29, 2017 (MST).
There is no maximum number of images that any artist can submit.
All successful photographs must be professionally framed in a metal or wood, solid-toned colour frame and be wired for hanging.
Selected photographers must deliver their photographs, wired and ready to hang, to InFocus by January 9, 2017. The acceptance email, sent by November 30, 2017, will include detailed instructions for framing, delivery and collection of the photograph(s) at the conclusion of the exhibition.
Photographers that do not reside in Edmonton, Alberta may ship InFocus their work OR have the photograph(s) printed and framed in Edmonton. Our exhibition printing partner is Technicare Imaging. The skilled and experienced printers at Technicare produce excellent printed images, as well as offering a selection of mating and framing options. Please contact Technicare directly (http://technicare.com, 1-800-897-1844). Technicare can also deliver your framed photographs to the exhibition.
The digital image files of the selected photographers will be used for press, publicity and marketing purposes, as with our mission of providing exposure for our InFocus photographers. Some of the selected images will be displayed and promoted on InFocusPhoto.ca and across many social media platforms, reaching viewers worldwide.
InFocus Photography Exhibition and Awards reserves the right to decline work that, in the curator’s judgement, does not match the online image submission requirements, fit the theme of the show, or any other reason.
Standard release: InFocus Photo reserves the right to display, reproduce and publish in any media, any entry, without payment beyond the 80% earned on the sale of the work from the gallery space, for the sole purpose of the InFocus Photography Exhibition – this year and in future – and its promotion, publicity and marketing. No copyright is transferred to InFocus in respect of any photographs submitted or accepted. Each photographer that submits will be deemed to warrant that they own the entire copyright for the work or that they have permission from the licensee and/or copyright owner(s) for the uses. All relevant clearances and/or model releases must have been obtained for the use of the photographs for publication and exhibition.
