For the past 9 years, Chan Rin has been a full-time digital creator and photographer in his business, Vivid Ribbon Inc., which specializes in commercial photography and video for his clients. Because of his passion in marketing and branding, he co-founded his second business, Disruption Digital Marketing in 2021. To pay his experience forward and build a positive community around photography, he founded urbanyeg in 2015. During their eight-year run, his team were able to feature thousands of photos on their Instagram page and support mental health by providing opportunities for real connection and encouragement through urbanyeg’s InstaMeets.

Alexis Marie Chute is the Co-Founder and Curator of InFocus Photo Exhibit and Awards. She is also the Curator of Wild Skies Gallery in Edmonton and the Red Brick Common Public Art Gallery in Stony Plain, Alberta. She has served on the curatorial team for Canada COVID Portrait, Grant MacEwan University Interdisciplinary Dialogue Photo Exhibit, and the Heritage Point Community League art competitions, as well as other adjudicator and portfolio reviewer positions. She is also an award-winning photographer, artist, author, and filmmaker, and art curator. Shane Turgeon, Founder of the Lightchasers Nature Photography Conference
Shane Turgeon is an award-winning nature photographer focused on landscapes, the night sky, storms, and wildlife. His work has been featured by Canadian Geographic, the Natural Landscape Photography Awards, PhotoLife magazine, F-stop Collaborate and Listen, Black Rapid, the CBC and more. In 2022 Shane was short-listed for the prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year award from the Royal Museums Greenwich in London. In 2022 Shane created the Lightchasers Nature Photography Conference in Pincher Creek, Alberta; an annual event which brings photographers together to learn from some of the top names in Canadian photography with an emphasis on education, exploration and community building. Eleanor Lazare, Photographer and Lecturer in Photography
Eleanor Lazare was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, educated in Winnipeg, London Ontario, and Ottawa. Involved in photography since graduating from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), she has lived in Edmonton for over 30 years. During that time, she has worked as a freelance photographer, designed courses, and taught at the University of Alberta in the Department of Art and Design in Visual Communication Design. Lazare has exhibited in Edmonton, Toronto, Calgary, Korea and the U.K. and her work can be found in the collections of the Art Gallery of Alberta, Art Foundation, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ottawa, and private collections. At present, her interests are in time-based images and the visual narrative.

With undergraduate studies completed at the University of Alberta and a M.F.A. in painting from the University of British Columbia, Chris W. Carson is both professional visual artist and arts administrator. His art career includes exhibitions at public, artist-run, and commercial galleries throughout Alberta. As an administrator, Carson worked for commercial and public art galleries, a professional arts organization and two provincial arts service organizations. Since August 2010, Chris W. Carson is the Executive Director of CARFAC Alberta. As a visual artist, Carson works with digital content creating mixed media pieces focusing on identity.
